Late-night TV welcomes a new edition to the lineup tonight as After Midnight makes its long-awaited debut. Tonight's premiere episode will feature some familiar faces for those watching at home.

After Midnight is a reboot of @midnight, the Chris Hardwick-hosted show that ran from 2013 to 2017. CBS chose to revive the franchise as a replacement for The Late Late Show with James Corden after James Corden walked away in 2023.

The new edition of the late-night TV will be hosted by comedian Taylor Tomlinson. She'll have fellow late-night TV host Stephen Colbert in her corner acting as an executive producer and lead-in.

After Midnight premieres at 12:37 a.m. ET on Tuesday night. Tomlinson will make an appearance on tonight's brand-new episode of The Late Show to promote the premiere.

Tomlinson's top guest tonight will be comedian Whitney Cummings. She's no stranger to the show, having appeared in a handful of episodes under the @midnight format.

Comedian Aparna Nancherla will also be on the premiere episode. She also appeared on @midnight and has been seen on The Jim Gaffigan Show, Conan, and Inside Amy Schumer among other credits.

Last but not least, Kurt Braunohler rounds out the first panel. Like Cummings and Nancherla, he was on @midnight. The stand-up comedian also hosts the podcast Bananas.

Expect the panel to join host Taylor Tomlinson in commenting on viral videos, trends, and more. It should offer something fresh to the late-night TV landscape, especially as political coverage will ramp up even more in the coming months.
