When it comes to late night TV shows, there is one who remains busy even outside his usual late night schedule. The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon remains gainfully employed by NBC, and that includes with holiday specials.
If there’s one special we’re looking forward to this year, it’s Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular. This is all about a night of music and fun, which is sure to create some Christmas cheer.
When will Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular air on NBC?
The network has set a lot of holiday programming dates, and two of them include Fallon. We already know that Password will get a holiday special on Monday, Dec. 8, and now we know that Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular will arrive a little closer to Christmas. Look out for the episode on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
You can tune in from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET/PT. Yes, this is earlier than the usual late night shows we’re used to, but it’ll be worth it!
There isn’t a rerun planned for the Jimmy Fallon musical extravaganza, but you can always watch iton Peacock the following day. There is a rerun of Password’s holiday special planned on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 8/7c, though.
What to expect during Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular
This is a night of music. The Tonight Show host goes on a hunt for the holiday spirit in New York, and that leads to him exploring magical doors. Each door has a different celebrity, who joins him to sing a few songs. Of course, each of the songs are off his “Holiday Seasoning” album, which is where the title of the series comes from.
Some of the guests for this special include Meghan Trainor and the Jonas Brothers, who have already teamed up with Fallon in the past to bring fun Christmas music. We hope to see Carter Faith join him to sing the latest holiday song, “Ugly Sweater,” and we’ll get to see the likes of LL Cool J, Cara Delevigne, and more throughout the night.
This is just part of the holiday programming on NBC throughout Christmas. Don’t forget that there is also the Saturday Night Live Christmas on Thursday, Dec. 18, just a day after this holiday spectacular.
For those who are up late on Christmas Eve and looking for a mass, you can check out the Pope Leo-led mass from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, which will air from 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday, Dec. 24.
