If you’re ready to see new interviews with David Letterman, you’re in a lot of luck. My Next Guest season 6 is heading to Netflix later this month, and we don’t mean the Adam Sandler movie.
Of course, the Adam Sandler special was one to look forward to. The episode is now available to stream on Netflix, and while it is a new episode, it isn’t technically part of season 6. It’s classed as a special.
We knew that there should be more episodes arriving soon, but the show wasn’t on the list of December releases at first, so we started to wonder if it would be pushed to January. Well, Netflix has added it onto the list now that December is here, clearly wanting to keep the focus on the Adam Sandler special for as long as possible.
When will My Next Guest season 6 drop on Netflix?
The sixth season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman season 6 will arrive on Netflix on Tuesday, Dec. 16. As with most other Netflix originals, all three episodes will drop at once.
There are only three episodes to the season, matching the release of season 5. It is disappointing when there are so few, but there are some great guests to look forward to! In other good news, this is not the end. My Next Guest season 7 has already been confirmed, although it’s not clear if it will arrive in 2026 or 2027.
Who will David Letterman interview?
The season will see a variety of guests, with two actors and a YouTube personality. I will say that the YouTuber does seem like a bit of an odd one for Letterman considering this type of person probably does need an introduction for many people out there, but there’s still a lot to talk about with them.
Michael B. Jordan and Jason Bateman are the two actors to look forward to hearing from. They both have extensive careers in both film and TV, covering a variety of styles from horror to comedy. Their recent movies and shows have been Sinners and Black Rabbit, respectively.
As for the YouTuber, it’s all about MrBeast, who is known to his family as Jimmy Donaldson. If you have Prime Video, you may have watched the Beast Games, which was based on his YouTube videos, although was hit with some controversy by contestants.
