The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is about to get another first. Get ready for an exciting lineup for a January 2026 show.
After taking a couple of weeks off for Christmas and New Year, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will be back with new episodes on Monday, Jan. 5. However, it’ll be an extra week until we get to see a TV debut, but we know it’ll be worth it!
KPop Demon Hunters stars will be on The Tonight Show
On Monday, Jan. 12, Arden Cho and Ahn Hyo-seop will make their interview debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They’re the voice actors of KPop Demon Hunters, a movie that more than exceeded expectations when it dropped on Netflix in 2025.
This isn’t just a late-night debut for the pair. This is the first sit-down interview the two have ever done, marking a huge achievement for Fallon and his crew. It comes off the back of getting the Duffer Brothers for their first sit-down interview on a late-night show in eight years!
Fallon already achieved a first with the KPop Demon Hunters movie in October 2025. Ejai, Audry Nuna, and Rei Ami gave their first televised interview and live group performance together on the series. They make up the group Huntr/x on the movie, the K-pop girl group that defeats the rival boy band of demons who want to take over the world.
Sony and Netflix are teaming up again for a KPop Demon Hunters sequel, which is slated to be released in 2029. We’ll be seated, no matter how long it takes.

What to expect from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January 2026
The first show back in the new year will be on Monday, Jan. 5. Sadie Sink and Josh Charles will step onto the set, and there will be a musical performance by ADR.
Of course, the Monday, Jan. 12 episode is the one many are now looking forward to. Kristen Wiig and Ashton Kutcher will both appear on the show as well as the voice actors behind KPop Demon Hunters’ main characters. Ty Meyers will give the musical performance of the night.
When the series does come back in full swing, we can expect much of the same as usual. There will be the usual opening monologue and plenty of interviews to mark the returns of shows, the premieres of movies, and much more.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on NBC.
