While we start off the week with bad news, there is some great news for the rest of the week when it comes to Jimmy Kimmel Live!. We have the full schedule for the week commencing Monday, Jan. 19.
Yes, there is a rerun to start the week. It’s not clear why this is, but we’re getting a rebroadcast of the Monday, Jan. 12 episode, which featured Michael B. Jordan and Joel McHale. The rest of the week will have new episodes, except for Friday, Jan. 23. While the schedule for that night isn’t confirmed, it’s going to be a rerun.
Tuesday, January 20
Rachel McAdams will join Jimmy Kimmel to talk about her upcoming movie Send Help. McAdams plays a woman who ends up stranded on a desert island with her overbearing and misogynistic boss. Now the tables turn, and she gets to prove that she is valuable in the workplace.
Judd Apatow will then come to the show to talk about Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man! And after that, we’ll get the first musical guest of the week, The Temper Trap. As mentioned before, Jimmy Kimmel Live! is going to drop to just two musical guests per week, and that’s what we’ll definitely see this week.
Wednesday, January 21
Hump Day will get Martin Short on the set, as he talks all things Only Murders in the Building. The fifth season aired in 2025, and it was renewed for a sixth season shortly after, and the show will move to London. Right now, it’s going to be all about the Emmys push and other awards, but Short is sure to talk about the move to another country.
Then Jackson White is on the show to discuss Tell Me Lies, which has just started its third season. White’s character just had a super dark confession, and that’s sure to be the topic of conversation during the interview.
Thursday, January 22
The last new episode of the week will start off with the American Idol judges. Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood take to the couch to talk about the return of the series, which premieres on Monday, Jan. 26.
Then Mike Epps will talk about Mike Epps: Delusional and The Upshaws, which has dropped its seventh and final season. We end with a musical guest, as Men at Work take to the stage.
Keep in mind that the schedule can change abruptly.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs on weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
