Out of all the broadcast network late night shows, Jimmy Kimmel Live! is the only one airing new episodes all week. The NBC shows are completely off the air during the Winter Olympics, and The Late Show has a week of reruns.

There’s plenty to look forward to throughout the week, and we’re sure to see the week start with comments about the Super Bowl, the Halftime Show, and the alternate Halftime Show, along with how certain people reacted online. However, we’re more interested in the guests for the week.

Monday, February 9

The week starts with Stellan Skarsgård taking to the stage to discuss Sentimental Value. The 2025 movie focused on two sisters reunited with their estranged father. As it’s now the awards season, we’re seeing a lot of discussion about the movies of last year, and this one deserves the extra boost.

This is the only guest currently scheduled for the show. It’s possible that another will be added last minute, or there may be a surprise addition during the filming. It’s worth noting that there is only one musical guest confirmed for the week, so maybe we could see another added into Monday’s lineup.

Tuesday, February 10

Then Rose Byrne will take to the stage to talk about her 2025 movie If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Again, it’s all about the award circuit right now, but this is one of those movies that may not have caught the attention of people when it was first released. I don’t remember seeing much promotion for it at the time, and I ran a movie site when it was released!

After that, Ego Nwodim will talk about the 2026 Film Independent Spirit Awards. There may also be some comments about Saturday Night Live and what she’s doing after leaving the series.

Wednesday, February 11

Nick Kroll will talk about an upcoming movie during Hump Day. It’s all about the animated family movie GOAT. The movie follows a small goat called Will who has a chance to play roarball with the pros. However, when he’s ridiculed by his teammates, he has to step up and prove that size doesn’t matter.

After that, Wunmi Mosaku will chat about Sinners, which was released in 2025. This horror movie has been nominated for 16 Academy Awards, which is outstanding, and there’s no doubt that there’s a push to turn those nominations into wins.

Thursday, February 12

Finally, it’s over to Tyler Perry to chat about Tyler Perry’s Joe’s College Road Trip, which will be released at the weekend on Netflix. The movie follows Madea’s foul-mouthed brother Joe head across the country with his college-bound grandson to teach him all about the real world.

Then Mae Martin will join Jimmy Kimmel to talk about his stand-up comedy tour, The Possum. The only musical guest booked for the week is Mariachi El Bronx, who will end the week in style.

The Friday rerun hasn’t been set yet. Keep in mind that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will take a week off next week, but The Late Show will be all new.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35/10:35c on ABC.
