The Late Show with Stephen Colbert left fans in the dark to start the week. But what should they expect to see on CBS tonight?
There was a noticeable hole in the late-night TV lineup to start the week. Stephen Colbert and his crew were absent, leaving the Late Show audience to look elsewhere for reaction to what transpired over the weekend.
Unfortunately, that trend will continue on Tuesday night. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Instead, CBS will reair the February 17 episode. Tune in to revisit Colbert's conversation with fellow late-night TV host and Daily Show alum John Oliver. The War and the Treaty served as the musical guest that night.
What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight
Once again, late-night TV audiences will have to channel surf to find an alternative. The good news is that there are options outside of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
On ABC, Jimmy Kimmel Live! is back with a brand-new episode. Aaron Paul, Bert Kreischer, and Redd Kross are on the schedule. The show starts at 11:35 p.m. ET.
At the same time, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon also airs a new show over on NBC. The guest lineup includes John Legend, Bill Burr, and Black Thought.
And finally, The Daily Show also has a new episode on Tuesday night. Ezra Klein, Derek Thompson, and host Jordan Klepper will be front and center on Comedy Central beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET.
