Even in the midst of unexpected cast changes, Saturday Night Live season 51 has proven to be one of the most memorable seasons of the iconic NBC sketch series in a long time. On top of incredible new cast members who are making their marks, the season has also benefitted from welcoming some of the biggest and most iconic stars in Hollywood, some who happen to be first-time hosts.
Sabrina Carpenter, Nikkie Glaser, Glen Powell, Josh O'Connor, Finn Wolfhard, Teyana Taylor, and Alexander Skarsgård have all made their SNL hosting debuts during season 51, and there's still a huge one coming up very soon. Heated Rivalry breakout star Connor Storrie hosts the Feb. 28 episode, which marks the show's return after an extended hiatus for the Olympics.
With Ryan Gosling on the schedule for March 4 and at least five hosts still left to book until the season finale in May, which other first-time hosts could grace season 51 with their presence? We have at least three ideas, which includes another fresh-faced talent and two stars that you won't believe have never hosted or performed as musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Hudson Williams
While fellow Heated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams could drop by for a cameo during his on-screen boyfriend and off-screen best friend Connor Storrie's hosting gig, the actor also more than deserves his own first-time SNL outing. Before Storrie's episode was announced, fans even hoped the pair would host together. That's not happening now, but we'll definitely take separate episodes.
Over the course of the show's promotional run, fans have gotten to know William's personality, which is far more outgoing and playful than that of his shy, reserved character Shane Hollander. Not to mention, his past work in short films runs the gamut of genres and often finds the actor doing some rather hilarious and wild comedy (just watch ChadGPT and Super Support for proof).
Hilary Duff
Can you believe that Hilary Duff has never hosted or appeared as musical guest on Saturday Night Live, even during the height of her Disney fame in the 2000s? Well, maybe you can since she was frequently parodied on the show when she was taking over the world as Lizzie McGuire, starring in millennial classic movies, and topping charts with her beloved music career.
However, Duff has been experiencing a career resurgence with her 2025 music. She's remained active in acting over the years, with hit shows Younger and How I Met Your Father, but she's back in a big way with her sixth album Luck... or Something dropping on Feb. 20. With a Las Vegas residency and a world tour on the horizon, it's the perfect time for Duff's SNL debut pulling double duty.
Zendaya
Somehow, fellow former Disney Channel alum Zendaya also hasn't hosted Saturday Night Live. The two-time Emmy Award winner and movie star seems like one of the most egregious blind spots on the sketch show's hosting lineup. How have they not gotten the star of Euphoria, the new Spider-Man movies, Challengers, Dune, etc. to come play live from New York on a Saturday night?
Thankfully, we could very possibly see Zendaya make her SNL hosting debut in the latter half of season 51, given that not only does Euphoria season 3 premiere on HBO on April 12, but her new film The Drama, which also stars Robert Pattinson, hits theaters on April 3. The star has at least three more major movies hitting the big screen this year. Why not add one more milestone?
