While the majority of late night talkshow hosts took much of Thanksgiving week off, Seth Meyers did not. He opted to keep his Thanksgiving week tradition alive by interviewing his family on Thanksgiving Night. This year even included his own children for a surprise interview.
However, this is where we get some disappointing news. Late Night with Seth Meyers will not air new episodes during the first week of December. As of right now, the plan up to Wednesday, Dec. 3 has been revealed, but it looks like the entire week will be filled with reruns. In fact, the next two weeks are expected to be filled with reruns.
In a way, this isn’t that surprising. With having a full week of episodes during Thanksgiving week, Meyers will want some time off. However, it is disappointing for those who want to see more of the show.

Three nights of reruns on Late Night with Seth Meyers
The first three nights of the week have been confirmed so far. They are all reruns of October and November episodes. Take a look at the episodes below to see if they’re ones you want to rewatch:
Monday, December 1: Maya Rudolph and Adam Pally (Oct. 22, 2025)
Tuesday, December 2: Tim Robinson, Zach Kanin, and Stavros Halkias (Nov. 4, 2025)
Wednesday, December 3: Tiffany Haddish, Cristin Milioti, and Joachim Trier (Nov. 6, 2025)
Of course, if you want to rewatch a different episode, you can turn to Peacock. All episodes head there the day after they air on NBC, and you can also check out many of the interviews and opening monologues on the Late Night YouTube channel.

When will Late Night with Seth Meyers return?
During a recent episode, Seth Meyers hinted that he would be off for the first two weeks of December. He’s reportedly in the UK, and he will appear on The Graham Norton Show while over there, and we’re expecting the next new episode to air on Monday, Dec. 15.
Yes, there is expected to be another break coming up after that. This is the time of year everyone takes time off to be with their families, and it means a temporary break in the programming.
While I’m sure there are a lot of people blaming Meyers, he has often stated that taking time off isn’t often his choice. He would like to do more episodes, but NBC orders fewer of Late Night compared to The Tonight Show, and it’s likely due to budget and the time the show airs to get the linear viewership.
Late Night with Seth Meyers airs on weeknights at 12:35/11:35c on NBC.
