It’s Thanksgiving, and that usually means that TV shows are off the air. They take breaks, because who is up watching them when there are other events going on? Well, Late Night with Seth Meyers will air a new episode tonight, Thursday, Nov. 27, and it keeps its Thanksgiving tradition alive.
We shouldn’t be too surprised that NBC has its late night shows airing tonight — because, yes, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will also have a new episode. The network has a full run of Thanksgiving shows, and that likely means people sticking around for the late night programming.
Late Night with Seth Meyers will air later than normal
There is something to keep in mind, though. The show will air at a later time than we’re used to. Due to the NFL game and then local programming, the late night shows are being pushed back by around 30 minutes. This could be pushed back further if the game goes into overtime, which surprisingly, a lot of games have done that this season!
For now, Late Night with Seth Meyers is slated to air at 1:07 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28. I guess then you could say that it’s no longer Thanksgiving, but it’s the early hours of the morning, so it counts!

Who are Seth Meyers’ guests on Late Night?
The Thanksgiving episode is sticking with tradition. Seth will invite his parents, Hilary and Larry, and his brother, Josh, onto the show. He’s chosen to interview his family on this night since 2014, and it’s a great way to keep working and spend time with family. There is a relaxed atmosphere in the studio when it comes to this interview of the year.
By the way, you can keep up with all things Josh Meyers as well. He’s best known as Randy Pearson on That ‘70s Show, but he now has a podcast with Seth called “Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers,” and they chat all about their lives and growing up.

Late Night will then go on a break
After this episode, there will be a break in the schedule. On Friday, Nov. 28 — or more like Saturday morning — we’ll get a rerun of the Nov. 17, 2025 episode, which featured Jeff Goldblum and Jane Krakowski.
Things should be back to normal on Monday, Dec. 1. The schedule isn’t out just yet, but we’ll be sure to keep an eye on it.
Late Night with Seth Meyers is available to stream on Peacock if you miss an episode.
