It’s Thanksgiving week, and you know what that means. It’s time for specials, and that includes A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving.
There are no more regular episodes of Saturday Night Live airing in November, but there are some December episodes to look forward to. For now, it’s all about the Thanksgiving special, which airs on Thanksgiving Eve. That’s certainly become the tradition we’re used to!
What time is A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving on NBC?
The episode will air on NBC, as usual. However, it’s going to be at a different time. Tune in tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. It’s a two-hour event, so make sure you stick around.
There are many ways to watch NBC live, although we do have to note that NBC stations went dark on Fubo TV recently due to a carriage deal coming to an end. This is becoming the norm, and it’s important to push for your networks to make a deal as quickly as possible. You can still watch via YouTube TV, though.
What about the day after? A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving can be a lot of fun on actual Thanksgiving, and the great news is you can check out the episode on Peacock. It’s always on there, so you can check it out whenever you want.
If you tune in an hour earlier, you can see the special that takes a look at the floats that will be part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade the following day.

What to expect during the Thanksgiving special of Saturday Night Live
The episode will have a mixture of prerecorded and live segments. There will also be a mixture of new sketches and Thanksgiving sketches from the past. The aim is to make it all holiday-themed, so it feels like what’s going on at home.
There have been some excellent sketches from the past, with season 41 bringing us “A Thanksgiving Miracle” and season 2’s monologue that saw Paul Simon dressed up as a turkey. These are often the ones that are included as part of the special to allow everyone to relive them.
After A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving, the show will head back into some regular episodes. We’ll have three in December before the series goes on a break for the winter period. If you want to keep up with the fun, you can always check out episodes on Peacock.
