The odd relationship between Jimmy Kimmel and MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell continued on Wednesday night. The late-night TV host produced his own Christmas special for the embattled pillow salesman.

Lindell found himself to be a recurring character in Jimmy Kimmel’s monologues following the 2020 election. Things culminated when Lindell sat down as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in what turned out to be a tame, civil conversation even if the two disagreed on reality.

Since then, Lindell has repeatedly attempted to get back on the show. Kimmel hasn’t granted his request but also hasn’t dropped his Lindell material. So when Lindell once again suggested he’d make a great Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest, Kimmel decided to give him something more.

It all started when Lindell celebrated a judge ruling he can’t be referred to as a conspiracy theorist. Feeling vindicated, the MyPillow guy called out Kimmel and claimed he should get a spot on late-night TV. But rather than give him airtime, Kimmel went a step further and produced the Mike Lindell MyChristmas special.

James Adomian returned as Mike Lindell, reprising one of the best impressions going on late-night TV. The Lindell parody prepared the audience for a special holiday guest lineup that included Chuck Norris, the QAnon Shaman, “almost Senator” Herschel Walker, Lindell’s nephew Juno, and “George Santos Claus.”

But when Lindell announced a visit from Donald J. Trump, it was Jimmy Kimmel who walked through the door. Things turned into a tender moment as Kimmel explained to Lindell that Trump didn’t care about the pillow salesman. In fact, Kimmel has given Lindell more attention than the former president over the past year.

So there we have it. Another chapter in the Mike Lindell-Jimmy Kimmel saga. The MyPillow CEO will undoubtedly respond and believe he’s a step closer to getting back on Kimmel’s couch. But Kimmel already has a Mike Lindell that is much more enjoyable to watch.
