Who’s hosting Saturday Night Live tonight, December 2?

Saturday Night Live is all new tonight and ready to kick off the final month of 2023. So who will SNL fans see take the stage as tonight’s host?
Through five episodes, Saturday Night Live season 49 has featured three first-time hosts and two that SNL audiences have seen before. Nobody has seemed overwhelmed or out of place, and that won’t change tonight.
Actress Emma Stone hosts Saturday Night Live tonight. It will be a special occasion as she joins the Five Timer Club. Stone previously hosted in 2010, 2011, 2016, and 2019.
Stone is out promoting her new film, Poor Things. She can also be seen starring alongside Nathan Fielder in the Showtime series The Curse.
Tonight’s musical guest is Noah Kahan. His 2022 album Stick Season earned him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
What to expect from Emma Stone tonight on Saturday Night Live
Emma Stone’s acting credits prove she is one of the most versatile performers in Hollywood. She is just as comfortable in a comedy as she is in an Oscar-winning role. Her turns on Saturday Night Live have also demonstrated a willingness to do anything the sketch requires.
So with that, it’s no surprise she joins the Five-Timers Club at 35 years old. Expect her monologue to celebrate the event with some special guests. Tina Fey, Steve Martin, and Candace Bergen tend to be the most frequent cameos during a Five-Timers bit. Two of Stone’s former co-stars, Jonah Hill and Woody Harrelson, are also in the club. Mark them down as long shots to appear.
Stone’s personal life also presents a chance for other Saturday Night Live cameos. She’s married to former SNL segment director Dave McCary, who also formed the comedy group Good Neighbor with former SNL cast members Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett. The show hasn’t hesitated to bring back recent alumni, so there’s an outside chance that happens tonight.
