We’ve reached the end of November, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans are hoping to end it on a high note. So what should audiences expect to see tonight on CBS?
Late-night TV has had a noticeable absence this week. Shows like Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon have taken the week off. Meanwhile, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert also hasn’t aired a new show all week.
The bad news for fans is that trend continues on Thursday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
The show remains on hiatus as Stephen Colbert recovers from a ruptured appendix. The comedian announced that he was taking the week off in order to bounce back from surgery.
Tonight, CBS will reair the November 13 episode. Anyone who tunes in can revisit Colbert’s conversation with Barbra Streisand.
What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight, November 30
Stephen Colbert hasn’t announced when he’ll be back to The Late Show. It’s possible he’ll be ready to go on Monday. Fans can always revisit Colbert’s best monologue of November if they miss their favorite host.
In the meantime, there are a couple of late-night TV options for anyone looking for laughs on Thursday night.
At 11:00 p.m. ET, The Daily Show returns with a new episode. Guest host Michelle Wolf wraps up her week running the show. Dr. Stu Fischbein will visit the Comedy Central show.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! delivers a new episode on ABC at 11:35 p.m. ET. The guest lineup includes Sarah Silverman, Molly Baz, and Dwight Yoakam.
And as a reminder, don’t look for any new episodes on NBC. Both The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers will air reruns on Thursday night.
