On Saturday Night Live, George Santos went on the defensive following a bombshell report from the House ethics committee. Cast member Bowen Yang nailed the congressman’s absurdity in a pitch-perfect “Weekend Update” segment.

According to the report, Santos allegedly used campaign donations for his personal gain. The New York Republican spent money on luxury goods, vacations, Botox, and even on OnlyFans. Late-night TV had a field day with the news, and SNL took its turn on Saturday.

Bowen Yang reprised his role as George Santos on “Weekend Update.” Anchor Colin Jost introduced a story about a NASA scientist discovering a tiny moon, only for Jost to realize Santos was taking credit for the finding.

Yang slid into the frame and was immediately on top of his game as Santos. He couldn’t be bothered by Jost recapping the allegations against him.

“Isn’t Congress like OnlyFans anyway?,” said Yang as Santos. “People paying you to do nasty things on a bad livestream?”

Santos also explained he used donor money on his signature red sweater, prompting a catty response from Jost. The Republican also admitted he bought a “big old thing of Botox.”

Saturday Night Live’s George Santos claims everyone lies

“Weekend Update” host Colin Jost confronted George Santos for the pile of lies he’s created since entering the public eye. Bowen Yang’s parody of Santos became even more defensive when Jost questioned if the congressman was actually gay.

And when Jost pushed the issue further and asked why Santos about constantly lying, things got hilariously heated. “Everyone lies,” he said. “Look at you wearing these structured suits. Isn’t that a lie? Letting everyone think you have a perfect body?”

“But George, I do have a perfect body,” Jost replied. Saturday Night Live season 49 has made a habit of writing Jost some arrogant responses that the host always delivers with a laugh.

Bowen Yang finished out his “Weekend Update” appearance by echoing what other late-night personalities have said. George Santos will be missed, if only because of the material he provided week after week.
