Joe Rogan praises Bill Maher: “One of the best people of our era”
Bill Maher can soak up his latest bit of praise from podcast star Joe Rogan this week.
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan labelled Bill Maher a revolutionary in today’s entertainment sphere. The podcast host first suggested Maher’s move to HBO back in 2003 from his hosting duties on Politically Incorrect was a genius move.
“He went over to HBO and it became an infinitely better show,” Rogan told Carrot Top.
Rogan gave most of his credit to Maher on the issue of modern woke ideology, claiming the HBO host should be celebrated for his rebuttal to many contemporary left-wing policies.
“He’s very liberal but he’s an old-school liberal,” he continued.
Rogan would continue once again to label Maher “one of the best” in speaking out on a number of contentious left-wing ideas. For some time now Maher has been a staunch critic of a number of recent political trends, particularly on cancel culture and political correctness, very often associated with left-wing politics.
Maher just recently made news after Real Time’s Overtime segment was officially taken hold of by CNN this week. The popular segment is set to air Fridays on the news network. This will be CNN’s first attempt to break into the late-night television scene following the success of Fox News’ Gutfeld!
Rogan returns to his Democratic roots
Weirdly enough, it seems Rogan has recently found his roots in democratic thinking again. It wasn’t so long ago when Joe was seen cheering on Trump’s electoral wins in 2020 during a live stream episode.
Back in July of last year during a conversation with Andrew Shultz, Rogan reminded viewers that he is a “bleeding heart liberal”. Even so, the podcast host will continue to face slack purely on the issue of platforming a number of returning controversial guests including Jordan Peterson and Alex Jones.
Joe Rogan is yet to make an appearance on Real Time. Maybe the podcast host might prefer a sit-down discussion with Maher on Club Random. We’re more than certain it would draw in the viewers.
