Greg Gutfeld mocks AOC, says congresswomen is “hollow inside”
Greg Gutfeld had some harsh for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez this week during a panel discussion on Fox show, The Five.
The political commentator mocked the Congresswomen’s appearance in a recently released documentary film on climate change.
Titled, ‘To the End’, the documentary is expected to present the harsh realities of global warming, giving an inside look into how political policy is crucial in tackling such a crisis. AOC is rumoured to play a major role in the production, but now faces criticism from her usual conservative critics.
Speaking on the documentary’s apparent box office failure, Gutfeld prepared a number of remarks.
“Who would go see a movie that is the opposite of entertaining? There’s nothing entertaining about that,” he said.
“Michael Moore’s colonoscopy is more entertaining than that, cause there’s probably more twists.”
Amidst a starring role in this new political documentary, AOC has continued her ongoing spat with Twitter boss, Elon Musk, condemning Twitter’s suspension of journalist accounts over doxxing concerns.
The Congresswomen claimed this week that Musk had abused his power in doing so.
It seems online audience reviews are in agreement with Gutfeld, with IMDb currently showing a 1/10 rating for the recently released film.
Gutfeld has often ignored serious discussions on climate change
Although, it’s fair to say that Gutfeld has hardly championed climate change activism at all in his television career.
Back in 2015, Gutfeld mocked President Obama’s claim that global warming posed the greatest threat to the planet. The host went on to bizarrely suggest that mainstream climate activism is somehow more concerned with destroying capitalism than promoting green initiatives.
Ignoring the issue of climate change is hardly a phenomenon unique to Greg Gutfeld’s commentary. The Fox News channel is often criticised for downplaying the ongoing crisis and even suggesting scientific concerns are exaggerated.
Back in 2019, Fox commentator, Laura Ingraham suggested that the current climate is in a “natural” cycle, also professing to have found climate activism amongst youths to be “chilling”.
