Greg Gutfeld returned last night, giving his verdict on The Late Late Show‘s James Corden.

After the CBS host was temporarily banned from New York restaurant, Balthazar, Corden was accused of “abusive” behaviour.

Gutfeld weighed in on the viral online controversy last night during his weeknight Fox show.

“Former celebrity, James Corden has reportedly apologised for the rude behaviour that got him banned from a fancy New York city french restaurant called Balthazar,” the host told viewers.

“It’s unclear if he actually felt bad about how he acted or just missed doing shots of their garlic butter.”

Late night stays silent on James Corden controversy

So far, the longtime Fox host is the only late-night star to weigh in on the story. Even Corden has strayed away from making a public comment on the situation despite privately apologising.

Gutfeld continued: “Corden allegedly had several rage-filled meltdowns at the restaurant over stuff like wrong orders and a piece of hair in a dish – which although annoying, are far less upsetting than having to sit through more than thirty seconds of his car karaoke show.”

Panellist, Katrina Campus offered a differing opinion to the debate. “I’m a big component of treating people with respect. I believe all man are the same fabric. With that said, I love James and I am one of those viewers who watch his karaoke car show,” she admitted.

Gutfeld was quick to butt in, jokingly suggesting, “Oh, you gotta go now”, followed by laughter from the in-studio audience.

The panellists then discussed the large number of other claims floating around regarding Corden’s public demeanour.
