Former Tonight Show host, Jay Leno has been hospitalised after being involved in a car fire, according to a recent report from TMZ.

The outlet has reported in recent hours that the television personality was burned by flames after one of his vehicles set alight suddenly.

Sources have told the outlet that the left side of the hosts’ face has suffered the worst injury.

Now in hospital

Leno will now reside at nearby hospital, Grossman Burn Center, to seek treatment.

At this point in time, we are unaware of how serious Leno’s injuries are and we can only hope he can recover as soon as possible.

Leno was also set to make an appearance at the Financial Brand Forum 2022 in Las Vegas but these plans have, for obvious reasons, been cancelled.

Attendees were made aware of his emergency trip in an email, obtained by People Magazine.

It read: “His family was not able to provide us very many details, but there was a very serious medical emergency that is preventing Jay from traveling. All we know is that he is alive, so our prayers go out to him and his family tonight.”

Jay Leno’s Garage put on hold?

Despite NBC making no official statement at this moment in time, we can predict that any further filming of the host’s Show, Jay Leno’s Garage, will be postponed until he has fully recovered.

Thankfully, the car programme has attracted enough attention in recent months to keep itself going.

Just a few weeks ago, Leno had invited President Joe Biden to take a spin in a 1978 Ford F100.

The episode quickly became a target for scrutiny after Fox News host, Greg Gutfeld labelled the segment a political stunt, with the intention of improving Biden’s image on television.

Of course, we wish Jay a speedy recovery and hope to see him on our screens in the near future.
