Jimmy Kimmel calls Ted Cruz “the most repulsive man in America”
By Sam Linden
On Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host made his hatred for Ted Cruz very clear.
Kimmel started the show with an attack on Ted Cruz. The late-night TV host pointed out that the Astros swept the Yankees, but more importantly, “the most repulsive man in America, Ted Cruz” was in the crowd.
Jimmy Kimmel shows Ted Cruz is not welcome in New York
The popular talk show host then pulled up a photo of Ted Cruz in the crowd and mocked him for being there: “Look at this guy, bright-orange button down, dark-blue Walmart Grainger’s vest, pretending he drinks beer, soaking up the sadness of the crowd.”
Kimmel added, “you would think Ted Cruz would be unwelcome in a place like the Bronx, and if you did think that you’d be correct.” He then showed a TikTok of Ted Cruz being heckled by a man in the crowd. The host was met with a great deal of laughter and applause by the crowd afterward.
Kimmel was definitely not the only person to blast the Texas Republican senator. Cruz was abused all game at the Yankees Stadium. Many baseball fans took to social media to show their hate for Cruz. One tweet showed the Astros fan being flipped off by many around him.
Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue also covered Donald Trump and Kanye West
Jimmy Kimmel then went on to discuss the Trump Organization’s tax fraud and grand larceny trial. Jimmy noted that the organization was “charged with 9 counts of tax fraud, grand larceny and falsifying business records in what prosecutors say was a 15-year scheme to defraud authorities…” The late-night host then chirped: “Or as the Trumps call it, a slow Tuesday.”
Instead of a $1.6M fine, Kimmel said, “if you really want to take down the Trump organization, all you have to do is let Trump keep running it.”
Ye faces massive backlash due to anti-semitism
Kimmel, towards the end of the show, mentioned Kanye West’s spew of anti-semitism. “Speaking of the mentally unsound, …Kanye announced he was going death con 3 on Jewish people.”
Due to Ye’s public statements about Jewish people, Adidas is planning to cut ties with the long-time partner.
Kimmel pointed out on the show that Ye’s behavior has caused others to support him in his anti-semitic views. Some Nazi supporters took to a bridge overpass with racist banners in support of Kanye’s outbursts. “If you’re at home making a banner that includes the words ‘Kanye is right’ just go ahead and jump off the overpass,” the host commented.
