Wednesday’s headlines were filled with more intriguing stories from in and around Washington, D.C. So should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see a new episode recapping the day’s stories?
Stephen Colbert hasn’t been seen so far this week. Both Monday and Tuesday night featured repeats, leaving fans wondering if The Late Show was just enjoying a long weekend.
Unfortunately, that break will only continue on Wednesday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Instead, CBS will reair the October 3 episode. Interested viewers can revisit appearances by Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Armando Iannucci, and Dermot Kennedy.
What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight
The bad news only continues as we look down the late-night TV schedule for Wednesday. The Late Show won’t be the only program airing a repeat tonight.
Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers are each off tonight. And don’t expect to hear James Corden respond to the scandal surrounding him; The Late Late Show will also be in reruns tonight.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is the only option on the menu tonight. Tune in to the Comedy Central show to see Trevor Noah chat with musician Brandi Carlile.
Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Seth Meyers are all expected to return with new episodes on Monday, October 24. Fans should anticipate the same schedule for Stephen Colbert.
