A New York restaurant chain owner has blasted James Corden for creating chaos in his restaurant.

Keith McNally of the Balthazar, made a number of shocking claims on Instagram, suggesting the Late Late Show host was rude to waiting staff.

On Instagram, McNally said Corden was the “most abusive customer” the restaurant has faced in 25 years.

The owner listed a number of occasions in which the CBS host was supposedly uncivil. It was claimed that after Corden had found a hair in his food, the British star demanded free drinks before threatening to write a “nasty” review on Yelp.

The second occasion is described as notably more concerning. After complaining about a number of issues with the meals provided, Corden allegedly shouted “You can’t do your job!” to staff members.

“That’s when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: “You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelet [omellete] myself!” the statement read.

“He was complaining about everything”

This recent news comes after a large number of online rumours over James Corden’s nasty public behaviour. In recent years, the host has been accused of making similar scenes at restaurants.

A popular Reddit post described an apparent encounter with the host in 2021: “He was complaining about everything. The food, the drink, the chairs, the toilets and even the generic jazz the place were playing as background music,” it read.

“At one point he sent back something, can’t remember if it was food or drink but as he did he said something like “You know I’m on TV, right?” or similar. It wasn’t quite “Don’t you know who I am?” but as near as damn it.”
