The Late Show with Stephen Colberstarted the week with a repeat on Monday night as the show attended the Emmy Awards. So what should late-night TV fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert was on the red carpet in Los Angeles for the Primetime Emmys. His Late Show failed to dethrone Last Week Tonight with John Oliver in the Outstanding Variety Talk Series category.

But there is good news for Colbert’s loyal fans: There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Expect Colbert to recap some of his Emmy experience and likely deliver a backhanded compliment to his old pal John Oliver for yet another win. Then, it will be time for Colbert to get to the news as we continue to learn more about former President Donald Trump’s storage of classified documents.
