Summer is nearing an end, bringing the start of a new season. A new season is also what Jeopardy! fans have been patiently waiting to see.

Jeopardy! finished season 38 back in July. Luigi de Guzman became the current champion after winning just over $23,000. Since then, the game show has aired repeats featuring some memorable moments from the past season.

That trip down memory lane will continue on Tuesday. There will not be a new episode of Jeopardy! tonight.

Instead, fans will see a repeat of the April 27 episode. It once again features Mattea Roach, the tutor from Toronto who became one of the more popular champions in recent history.

When does Jeopardy! return with new episodes?

Like most shows, Jeopardy! is scheduled to return this fall. Season 39 kicks off on September 12. Fans will see the return of Luigi de Guzman as he gets his first chance to defend his title.

As far as who will host, audiences will also see a pair of familiar faces. Both Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik will return to trade off hosting duties.

So there you have it, Jeopardy! fans. You’re only two weeks away from brand-new episodes. That should be plenty of time to get some last-minute studying in to prepare to play along at home.
