The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans are looking for a miracle Thursday night in the form of a new episode. So what should they expect to see tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert hasn’t delivered a new monologue since August 11. In that time, dozens of new developments have emerged regarding the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago. Late-night TV fans remain desperate to hear Colbert’s take on everything.

Sadly, that won’t happen on Thursday night. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Instead, CBS will reair the July 26 episode. Any fans that tune in can revisit Colbert’s conversations with radio DJ and television host Charlmagne Tha God and Stranger Things star Brett Gelman.

There is more bad news for Late Show fans. CBS doesn’t intend to air a new episode on Friday night, or for any days the following week. It could be a while before we hear from Stephen Colbert.

What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight

Fans may be upset with a few other shows for airing repeats tonight. In addition to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, other programs airing reruns on Thursday include The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Additionally, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will be pre-empted on Comedy Central.

However, Jimmy Kimmel Live! has a new episode tonight. Guest host Nikki Glaser jumps in and welcomes Danny DeVito, Jameela Jamil, and Ingrid Andress.

The Late Late Show with James Corden will have a new episode on CBS. The guest lineup is expected to include Regina Hall, Sterling K. Brown, and a  performance by the cast of “Moulin Rouge.”
