It’s finally Friday and many Jeopardy! fans are looking to end the week with the game show. But what should audiences expect to see tonight?

It’s been nothing but disappointment this week for anyone looking for a new episode. Jeopardy! has yet to air a new show in the month of August.

Don’t expect that to change on Friday. There will not be a new episode of Jeopardy! tonight.

Instead, fans will get another chance to watch the November 3, 2021 episode. Tyler Rhode, a healthcare data specialist from New York, New York, entered that game as champion. He’d earned a five-day winning streak and totaled $105,901 in winnings.

When will Jeopardy! return with new episodes?

Tonight’s repeat episode indicates Jeopardy!‘s plan for the rest of the month. The most exciting games of the past season will continue to get another turn in the spotlight.

Season 39 is just around the corner, however. New episodes have already begun taping, and the new season starts airing on September 12.

When the show does return, fans will have to get reacquainted with the current Jeopardy! champion. That would be Luigi de Guzman, who one a single game before the break.

As a reminder, the game show will continue to split hosting duties between Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik. Both will return for the new season.
