Late Night remains in reruns after Seth Meyers’ COVID diagnosis
By Matt Moore
Late Night with Seth Meyers won’t return on Monday night following host Seth Meyers’ COVID-19 diagnosis last week. The NBC show will air another repeat episode.
Meyers shared the news of his diagnosis back on July 27. He announced that Late Night would cancel shows through the rest of the week.
Fans hoping that a few days off would be enough for Meyers to get back on the air by Monday are undoubtedly disappointed. There will not be a new episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers tonight.
Instead, NBC will reair the June 9 episode. Audiences get another chance to see Meyers chat with Jeff Goldblum, D’Arcy Carden, and Joe Russo.
According to the show’s schedule, Tuesday will also be a rerun night. Seth Meyers is aiming to be back with a new episode on Wednesday, August 3.
