The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans were surprised to see a repeat episode air on Monday night. So what should they expect to see tonight on CBS?

Stephen Colbert and the rest of his team took Monday night off. This followed repeat episodes airing on Thursday and Friday of last week. All added up, it means that it’s been too long since late-night TV fans heard from Colbert.

Unfortunately, the wait won’t end on Tuesday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Instead, CBS will reair the April 6 episode. The Late Show fans can see Colbert’s guests Anderson Cooper and Thomas Rhett for a second time.

The band news continues for Colbert’s audience. The show isn’t scheduled to air a new episode all week.

What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight

While it’s bad news for The Late Show fans, it’s good news for anyone watching the rest of late-night TV. Every other show will air a new episode.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon returns to NBC with a new show at 11:35 p.m. ET. The guest lineup includes Elisabeth Moss, Rhett & Link, and Lauv.

ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! also has a new episode at the same time. Rebel Wilson, Randy Rainbow, and Lawrence are scheduled to appear.

Late Night with Seth Meyers will air a new episode tonight, too. Expected to appear are Oscar Isaac, Zazie Beetz, Phil Wang, and Fred Eltringham.

At the same time, The Late Late Show with James Corden airs a new show. James Corden welcomes Ray Romano, Brooklyn Decker, and Joy Downer.

Finally, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will be brand new tonight. At 11:00 p.m. ET on Comedy Central, see Burna Boy join the show.
