Trying to put an end to that streak tonight was Joe Grodahl, a non-profit program and events director from Edina, Minnesota, and Kristen Rucki, a high school English teacher from Astoria, New York.

Roach put the game away in “Double Jeopardy!” thanks to a quick buzzer. She correctly answered 14 questions on the way to banking $19,400. Rucki totaled $3,000 and Grodahl had $2,400.
It meant that “Final Jeopardy!” had no impact on the outcome once again. However, all three contestants failed to come up with the correct response. It cost Roach $5,000, but her eight-day total stands at $182,801.
