11 Late-night hosts, SNL cast members, and comedians to see on tour this summer

Now that summer has arrived and people are getting vaccinated, it is time to see our favorite comedians doing their thing. And we’ve picked 11 late-night talk show hosts, Saturday Night Live cast members, and stand-up comedians for you to see on the road this summer.

1. Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah recently announced a summer hiatus at The Daily Show but at the same time announced he was going on a tour called “Back to Abnormal.” He will be touring the United States, the UK, Canada, and many European countries starting this summer into next year.

2. Hasan Minhaj

Though his late-night show, Patriot Act, was canceled by Netflix, it hasn’t stop Hasan Minhaj from making comedy. He recently announced dates for his “The King’s Jester” tour, which will be going all summer long and into the autumn across the United States. On Monday, August 2, Minhaj added more dates and locations through March 2022.

3. John Mulaney

John Mulaney took to social media to announce his new summer tour, “From Scratch,” consisting of residencies across the country. He’ll be at The Wilbur in Boston in August and then move to Park Theatre in Las Vegas and Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy in September. If you can’t catch him this summer, he’ll also be at the Kimmel Cultural Campus in Philadelphia in October and the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans in November.

4. Ali Wong

This summer, Ali Wong is back on the road with a limited run of her “Milk & Money” tour. You can catch her in New York, Washington D.C., and Boston with a few standalone shows in Los Angeles this August.

5. Dave Chapelle

Though he isn’t doing many tour dates this summer, lucky fans living near Hollywood, FL, can see Dave Chapelle at the Hard Rock Live starting August 6th through the 8th. He will also be doing shows in New Orleans and Milwaukee in September.

6. Bill Maher

Even while filming his HBO late-night show, Real Time With Bill Maher, Bill Maher still manages to make time to tour. This summer and through the autumn, he will be all over the United States touring and making people laugh.

7. Melissa Villaseñor

As an SNL cast member, finding time to tour must be challenging, but Melissa Villaseñor has made time to bring us laughs on stage this summer. In September, she will be doing five shows at the Milwaukee Improv with her “California Girl Tour.”

8. Chelsea Handler

Former late-night host Chelsea Handler is ready to bring comedy back with her “Vaccinated and Horny Tour.” Though most of the tour will happen in the autumn, you can still catch her first few dates in September.

9. Steve Martin and Martin Short

Comedian duo Steve Martin and Martin Short have combined their geniuses to create the ultimate show. In August, they will be doing touring in Virginia, Nevada, and California.  They will also be performing in the UK and the South states this autumn.

10. Nikki Glaser

After the success of her 2019 Netflix special Bangin’ and her new HBO Max dating show FBoy Island, Nikki Glaser is back on the stand-up scene with her tour “One Night with Nikki Glaser.” You can see her perform across the country this summer and into the new year.

11. Iliza Shlesinger

Iliza Shlesinger is having a great year. First, her movie Good on Paper, which she wrote, produced, and starred in, premiered on Netflix, and now she is kicking off her “Back in Action” tour this August in New Jersey and will be on the road until March 2022.
