F9 cast takes over The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight

The stars of F9 will be out on Tuesday night. The cast and director from the latest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise visit The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Vin Diesel, John Cena, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Justin Lin, and Helen Mirren are all on tonight’s Late Show guest list. It’s the kind of lineup that most late night shows would hope to get in a month, never mind in one night.

F9 hit theaters worldwide on June 25. As with most movies in the franchise, it’s a far bigger hit with audiences than with critics. Fans now know to expect over-the-top action as each new Fast movie attempts to top the previous one.

Expect director Justin Lin to explain the challenges that came with doing just that in F9. And as the leader on screen and off, Vin Diesel should be able to put everything in perspective as the franchise celebrates 20 years of crowd-pleasing filmmaking.
