Carpool Karaoke: New episodes feature Keegan-Michael Key, Maya Rudolph and more
By Matt Moore
Carpool Karaoke: The Series is back. James Corden announced that four brand new episodes have been released on Apple TV+ to kick off season four.
The series based off the popular Late Late Show segment launched in 2017. Since then, over 50 episodes have been released. Stars such as Will Smith, Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner, Samuel L. Jackson, and the cast of Stranger Things have gone out for a musical ride.
Prior to quarantine and shelter-in-place orders going into effect, Carpool Karaoke: The Series was able to put together four episodes. The new episodes give fans a chance to enjoy a segment that has been impossible to produce during the pandemic.
The best news? The four new episodes are available for free on the Apple TV app. Check out the official announcement from James Corden below along with a sneak peek at who will be in the karaoke car.
Who’s in the new episodes of Carpool Karaoke: The Series?
In typical Carpool Karaoke fashion, there is something for everyone in the first four episodes. The guests come from comedy, music, sports, and business.
First up, fans can see Saturday Night Live alum Maya Rudolph join up with the band HAIM. In addition to hits from the band, the group sings along to Madonna and Prince.
Episode two features actor (and this week’s SNL host) Keegan-Michael Key teaming up with Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski. Look forward to hearing some classic sports anthems.
It’s a family affair in episode three. Actors and siblings David Arquette and Patricia Arquette will show off their musical side, singing along to Steppenwolf and Violent Femmes.
Then in episode four, the men of Shark Tank hit the road together. Mark Cuban, Damon John, Kevin O’Leary, and Robert Herjavec will cover Taylor Swift and talk business.
