Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, May 3?

The calendar has flipped over to May and we’re just a few days into the new month. Will it also bring a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?

Stephen Colbert closed out April in typical fashion. He used his Late Show monologues to mock some of his favorite targets, including Fox News host Tucker Carlson and Texas Senator Ted Cruz. All in all, it was another solid week for Colbert.

Unfortunately, he won’t be building on any of that momentum on Monday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.

Instead, CBS will reair the episode from April 13. It gives Late Show fans another chance to catch Colbert in conversation with Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya and singer Taylor Swift as well as catch a performance by Lucy Dacus.

What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

It’s never the same when The Late Show takes a night off. Thankfully, fans have plenty of other options when it comes to late night TV.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! will bring a new episode to ABC. Sean Hayes, Casey Wilson, and Jason Aldean are on the schedule.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will also be new. The NBC show will welcome Vince Vaugh, Aidy Bryant, and Girl In Red tonight.

Also on NBC, Late Night with Seth Meyers will have a fresh episode. Michael Che, Richard Kind, and Mario Duplainter are all scheduled to appear.
