The Late Show with Stephen Colbert surprised some fans by airing a repeat episode on Thursday. Will the show make up for it tonight on CBS?

A Friday without The Late Show is something audiences have come to expect recently. So it was a bit of a shock when Thursday night’s episode was a repeat, halting momentum Stephen Colbert had been building all week with quality monologues on Matt Gaetz and more.

But fans will be happy to know that The Late Show will still be turning out a fourth episode this week. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight on CBS.

Expect Colbert to continue referencing the Matt Gaetz scandal while also covering today’s headlines. Commentary on the Adam Toledo shooting is also a possibility considering the release of police bodycam footage.

Who’s on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight?

First up, Stephen Colbert will interview actress Amanda Seyfried. She picked up an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Mank, released on Netflix back in Nov.

Her latest project is the film Things Heard & Seen. The horror film is based on the novel All Things Cease to Appear and will hit Netflix on April 29.

Then, country musician Ashley McBryde joins The Late Show. It was recently the one-year anniversary of her album Never Will. She’s up for three Academy of Country Music Awards including Album of the Year, Song of the Year (“One Night Standards”), and Female Artist of the Year.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS. You can also watch The Late Show with Paramount+ or on FuboTV. Sign up now for a free seven-day trial!
