Is The Late Show with Stephen Colbert new tonight, April 15?
By Matt Moore
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has been rolling along this week. So what should fans expect to see tonight on CBS?
Stephen Colbert’s monologues have covered just about everything worth discussion this week. The Matt Gaetz scandal, President Joe Biden’s plan to withdraw from Afghanistan, and another police shooting have all come up this week.
On top of that, The Late Show has delivered some of late night TV’s best interviews. Former Speaker of the House John Boehner and singer Taylor Swift stand out as two guests that brought a lot of attention to the show.
Unfortunately, there won’t be a fresh monologue or celebrity interview on Thursday. There will not be a new episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
Instead, CBS will reair the April 6 episode. It gives fans a second chance to catch up with Colbert’s interviews of journalist Ronan Farrow and musician Brandi Carlile.
What to watch instead of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert?
The good news is that The Late Show isn’t done for the week. Stephen Colbert will be back with a brand new episode on Friday night. But in the meantime, you have options for your late night TV fix.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be brand new. The guest lineup includes journalist Anderson Cooper, The Falcon and the Winter Solider star Emily VanCamp, and singer Zoe Wess. It airs at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
At the same time over on NBC, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will also be new. Catch rapper/actor Ice-T, comedian and actress Tig Notaro, and musical guest Orlando Leyba.
Other fan-favorite hosts including Seth Meyers, Lilly Singh, Conan O’Brien, and James Corden will also have fresh shows tonight. Check out the full late night TV lineup right here.
