The Monday after Super Bowl Sunday is usually a rough one for millions of people around the country (especially today if you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan). Late night TV is also back to work tonight, kicking off another entertaining week of shows.

Late night actually got an early start on the week on Sunday night. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert aired a special Super Bowl edition of the program featuring Robert Downey, Jr., Tiffany Haddish, and Metallica.

Stephen Colbert is back at it on Monday along with almost every other late night TV show. With a number of TV shows and movies set to premiere in the coming weeks, the late night guest lineup cards are stacked with popular actors and performers.

With that in mind, here are Last Night On’s picks for the five guests fans should be most excited to see this week. Be sure to let us know who you’ll be tuning in to see.

Late night TV guests to watch: Bill Burr

One of the best stand-up comedians working today gets your late night TV week started. Catch Bill Burr on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday, Feb. 8.

It doesn’t matter the show, the time of year, or the reason: Bill Burr will always make this list when he’s on late night TV. He’s at his best when he’s on Conan but Burr brings the same attitude and the same sense of humor everywhere he goes.

Seth Meyers has plenty to talk about with Burr on Monday night. Burr made a splash in season two of The Mandalorian and he has a new podcast out called “Anything Better?”. The comedian will probably also share his thoughts on Super Bowl LV. No matter what he talks about, Burr will have fans laughing on Late Night.

Late night TV guests to watch: John Oliver

Fans eager for the new season of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver will get a preview on Tuesday, Feb. 9. That’s when John Oliver will be on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Last Week Tonight is set to begin season 8 on Sunday, Feb. 14. First, he’ll check in with fellow Daily Show alum Stephen Colbert to give fans an idea of what to expect. The two late night TV hosts should discuss the challenges and perks of doing a comedy show right now given everything going on in the world.

It’s always fun when late night hosts get together on each other’s show. Stephen Colbert and John Oliver have fantastic chemistry and that should make for one of the best interviews you’ll see all week.

Late night TV guests to watch: Dwayne Johnson

The most popular entertainer on the planet brings some energy to late night TV this week. Don’t miss Dwayne Johnson on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Not only is Johnson the most popular man in Hollywood, but he very well may be the busiest. It seems like he always has a dozen projects in the works or is training for his next big movie while shooting another one. It makes for an excellent late night TV guest and an easy interview for Jimmy Fallon.

Johnson’s upcoming movie projects include the DC Comics-inspired Black Adam, the Disney adventure Jungle Cruise, and the action-comedy thriller Red Notice co-starring Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds.

Over on the television side, Johnson will be on The Tonight Show promoting the new NBC series Young Rock. The sitcom is based on Johnson’s life growing up as the son of a professional wrestler and chart his journey from college football player to wrestler to action star. It is set to premiere on Feb. 16.

Late night TV guests to watch: Priyanka Chopra Jonas

Another international movie star comes to late night TV on Wednesday, Feb. 10. See Priyanka Chopra Jonas on A Little Late with Lilly Singh.

A Little Late recently kicked off its second season on NBC. And despite the hurdles of producing a show during the pandemic, Lilly Singh has come back even better than before. Her interviews have especially improved and her chat with Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Wednesday night should be the highlight of the week.

The actress has a couple of different things she could promote on the show. She produced and stars in the drama The White Tiger released last month on Netflix. Chopra Jonas will also publish her book Unfinished: A Memoir on Feb. 9.

Late night TV guests to watch: Kat Dennings

A fan-favorite from the Marvel Cinematic Universe closes out your week of late night TV. Tune in to see Kat Dennings on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Dennings reprised her role as Dr. Darcy Lewis from the Thor franchise for the Disney+ series WandaVision. First appearing in episode four, Dennings added a new element to the show and fans immediately celebrated her return to the MCU.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, expect Dennings to discuss what it was like jumping back into the Marvel world, the reception she’s received from fans, and what it is like filming a show like WandaVision that is so different from other Marvel titles.
