Is Jimmy Kimmel Live new tonight, January 29?
By Matt Moore
It’s been a week of celebrations at Jimmy Kimmel Live!. So what should fans expect to see on Friday night?
First, Jimmy Kimmel Live! celebrated its 18th anniversary on the air. Jimmy Kimmel didn’t make too much fanfare about the event. Instead, he looked back at his first monologue jokes about Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Let’s just say the show has come a long way.
Then it was time to celebrate Guillermo’s 50th birthday. Kimmel toasted his sidekick with help from 50 celebrities including George Clooney, Charlize Theron, and Matt Damon joining in for a 50 shot salute.
Guillermo may still be recovering from his birthday. It’s a good thing he has the night off–there will not be a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight.
Instead, ABC will reair the show from Jan. 20. Fans can catch Kimmel’s interviews with comedian John Oliver and journalist Charles P. Pierce. The night ends with a musical performance by Ashley McBryde.
