Late night TV has some serious star power this week

Late night guests this week on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
Stephen Colbert had admitted that he’s ready for The Late Show to move on from President Donald Trump. We’re a little more than a month away from Inauguration Day so Colbert will still have a bit more to say about the current president in his monologues.
Once the guest segments start, expect to see Colbert in a much different mood. He’s one of late night’s best interviewers and those skills will be on display this week as The Late Show welcomes another impressive lineup of guests.
On Monday night, Chance the Rapper leads the way. His Christmas album collaboration with Jeremih recently became available.
Wild Moutain Thyme star Christopher Walken follows on Monday and then the spotlight turns to Laura Benanti. Late Show fans know the singer and actress as “Melania Trump” but she’s got a lot more to offer than just her fantastic impression.
Later in the week, Colbert will chat with two of the biggest movie stars on the planet. Tom Hanks is the guest on Wednesday. He’ll discuss his latest film News of the World arriving in theaters and on Netflix on Dec. 25.
Then, George Clooney stops by on Thursday. The actor will promote his film The Midnight Sky which he also directed. Catch it on Netflix on Dec. 23.
Other names coming to The Late Show this week include Whoopi Goldberg, Leslie Odom, Jr., and Anderson Cooper.
