Is Real Time with Bill Maher new tonight, November 13?
By Matt Moore
What should Real Time with Bill Maher fans expect to see tonight on HBO?
We’ve come to the end of another chaotic and unprecedented week. Then again, that should be expected in 2020. But what should fans expect tonight from Real Time with Bill Maher?
The last time we saw Bill Maher, he was enjoying what was clearly going to be a Joe Biden victory in the presidential election. The Real Time host seemed especially amused that President Donald Trump was effectively being served an eviction notice by the American people.
Since then, Maher and the rest of the country have watched as one of his predictions came true. Maher warned that President Trump would not willingly give up power. Without concrete evidence, the White House has challenged the election results and attempted to argue that a number of mail-in ballots were cast illegally.
Expect Bill Maher to have a response of his own tonight. Yes, there will be a brand new episode of Real Time with Bill Maher.
Who’s on Real Time with Bill Maher tonight?
The guest segments should start off with a bang tonight. Bill Maher will be welcoming a first timer to the show and things have the potential to get contentious.
Tonight’s interview guest is Jenna Ellis, a senior legal advisor for the Trump 2020 campaign. Her Twitter feed is full of stories on alleged voter fraud and inappropriate actions taken at polling stations. Ellis deserves credit for coming on Real Time but she shouldn’t expect a warm welcome from Maher.
Both panel guests should be familiar to Real Time viewers. They should have a much different perspective on the news than Ellis.
Caitlin Flanagan is a writer who can be read in The Atlantic. She could weigh in on the social aspects of a number of topics from the Supreme Court, the pandemic, and President Trump’s attempts to retain power for as long as possible.
Max Brooks is an actor and an author known for his zombie fiction. His novel Devolution
A Firsthand Account of the Rainier Sasquatch Massacre was published in June. Brooks could comment on the ongoing pandemic and the current administration’s response. Maher may also ask about Brooks’ father, Mel Brooks, and his decision to endorse Joe Biden.
Real Time with Bill Maher airs tonight at 10:00 p.m. on HBO. You can also watch on HBO Max.
