What should The Late Show with Stephen Colbert fans expect to see tonight on CBS?

The world of late night television got back to normal on Monday. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert returned after a week away. Should fans expect more of the same tonight?

Colbert’s voice was much-needed after another busy weekend preceded by a number of stories that The Late Show typically covers. Monday night’s show got a boost from guest Joy Reid who helped put things in perspective. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II also offered a closer look at his new film The Trial of the Chicago 7.

There’s no reason not to think we’ll get more of the same tonight. There will be a brand new episode of The Late Show.

First, Colbert will welcome music legend Dolly Parton. She recently released A Holly Dolly Christmas featuring other performers including Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon.

The musical guest will be Ty Dolla $ign. His album Featuring Ty Dolla $ign is expected to be released on Oct. 23.
