What should Jimmy Kimmel Live! fans expect to see tonight on ABC?
It has been a very busy month for Jimmy Kimmel, covering both the NBA and world events for ABC. But now that the NBA Finals have wrapped up, Jimmy Kimmel Live! can turn its attention to what it does best.
Kimmel has become one of the leading late-night voices against President Donald Trump. The ABC comedian has been relentless in his ridicule of the president and his allies. And with the election less than a month away, there is no reason to expect Kimmel to back off now.
But as always, it won’t be all about mocking the president on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The host remains one of the best interviewers in late-night and he’ll show off those skills on tonight’s all-new episode.
First, Kimmel will talk with actress Rashida Jones. She’s promoting her upcoming film On the Rocks co-starring Bill Murray. Then Senator Elizabeth Warren is scheduled to join the show. She’ll weigh in on everything from the election to the Supreme Court hearings that began today.
It’s also possible that Kimmel will have an unannounced guest from the Los Angeles Lakers. Whenever a championship trophy in sports gets handed out, someone from that team ends up on late-night TV. Given Kimmel’s coverage of the NBA Finals for ABC and his show’s LA connection, don’t be surprised if a newly-crowned Laker shows up tonight or later in the week.
