Jimmy Kimmel showed no signs that he lost a step when he returned to his late-night gig last week after taking off the summer. Jimmy Kimmel Live! fans were glad he was back and glad he returned with plenty to say.

Kimmel recapped President Donald Trump’s eventful summer, played pranks on his staff, and put Vice President Mike Pence on notice. It was clear that Kimmel wanted to hit the ground running in his return and make sure his voice was heard.

Now we are at the start of what should be another busy week for late-night television. Hosts will no doubt dive into the bombshell report on President Trump’s tax records. And on Tuesday, the first debate between President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden is set to take place.

Unfortunately, fans won’t be hearing from Kimmel tonight. There will not be a new episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night.

Instead, ABC will reair the show from Thursday, Sept. 24. If you missed Kimmel’s conversation with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus or the performance by rapper Aminé, then this is your chance to catch up.

There are other late-night options for fans tonight. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon both return with fresh episodes.
