Late night TV guest to watch: Chris Evans

Chris Evans may have hung up his shield as Captain America but that doesn’t mean he’s done doing good in the world. He’ll explain when he visits Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, July 21.

Evans’ most recent project was the Apple TV+ miniseries Defending Jacob that had its finale released on May 29. It was also recently announced that Evans would reunite with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame directors the Russo Brothers for The Gray Man alongside Ryan Gosling for Netflix.

Off the screen, Evans has been making plenty of headlines as well. He was praised for sending a video as Captain America to six-year-old Bridger, who protected his younger sister from a dog attack.

Evans also launched A Starting Point, a civic engagement platform he co-created designed to improve communication between elected officials and the American public. Dedicated followers of Evans know that the actor is very politically active and frequently shares his opinions on social media.

Look for Evans to explain the history of A Starting Point and why he thinks it is so important when he talks with Seth Meyers. The political nature of Late Night makes it the perfect platform for Evans to promote A Starting Point.
