Anna Kendrick shows off her Lego skills from quarantine
By Matt Moore
Jimmy Fallon checked in with Anna Kendrick to see how the actress is staying busy while social distancing.
During this time of social distancing and quarantine, we have all had to find ways to stay busy. For actress Anna Kendrick, that means getting really, really good at building Lego.
Kendrick was the latest guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The at-home editions of NBC’s late night show have given fans a rare look at their favorite celebrities. Rather than seeing stars dressed up on a promotional tour, audiences are seeing a more relaxed, intimate conversation between Jimmy Fallon and his guests.
Part of what fans have enjoyed is seeing how different celebrities are spending their time in quarantine. And while some viewers will never feel like they are quite in the same boat as the rich and famous, that doesn’t mean there aren’t examples of stars passing the time just like everyone else.
Kendrick checked in with The Tonight Show to not only plug Trolls World Tour but also show off her quarantine obsession. Star Wars fans will especially want to check out Kendrick’s Lego skills.
It sounds like in a matter of weeks, Kendrick became a Lego expert. That Millennium Falcon is looking good and chances are the actress is eager to construct the Death Star next. This sort of promotion could also land Kendrick a role in the next big screen adaptation of Lego.
Kendrick has every right to be proud of her creation. Displaying it with joy in her house wouldn’t be out of the ordinary for passionate Lego builders. But the actress should know that her Millennium Falcon Lego set wouldn’t be appreciated by everyone. Kendrick can look to Conan‘s Jordan Schlansky for proof:
