Conan O’Brien’s social distancing PSA gets an assist from Kevin Hart
By Matt Moore
Conan O’Brien’s public service announcement can help you know exactly how much social distancing is needed to stay safe.
Celebrities have been doing their best to provide public service announcements to the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the world of late night television, no one is trying to keep the public safe quite like Conan O’Brien.
Quarantining has confined comedians to their homes where many are still producing their shows and connecting with fans. Conan returned to TBS this week after a series of viral videos from O’Brien.
These covered everything from how to sanitize household items, do-it-yourself home improvement tips, and other life hacks. Not surprisingly, these have been more absurd than helpful but very much in line with what fans expect from O’Brien.
The latest guidelines indicate that social distancing will be in effect for the foreseeable future. Yet people still need to get outside, whether it is to take a walk or go to the grocery store. So how can you be sure you’re following protocol and keeping yourself and others safe? Let Conan O’Brien explain with a little help from Kevin Hart.
So to recap, one James Comey equals four Kevin Harts. If you can memorize that conversion, or carry around your life-size cut-outs, then you can be positive that you’re correctly following social distancing guidelines.
We have yet to see a response from Hart on either Twitter or Facebook but expect that to change. Hart and O’Brien are an unlikely comedy duo but when they are together, they are incredibly entertaining and make for a must-watch.
Conan continues with all-new episodes airing on TBS this week. Fans can expect to see celebrity interviews, a peek into Conan O’Brien’s home life, and maybe another PSA or two. And keep an eye out for an eventual response from Kevin Hart. Last Night On will continue to have you covered on all things late night television.
