Conan O’Brien kicks off Conan at Home tonight on TBS and will feature an impressive lineup of guests.

It has taken some time but late night television shows have figured out how to work through social distancing and quarantining. As a number of shows return to television this week, Conan O’Brien is setting himself apart with the best lineup of guests.

ConanThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel Live! are among the shows that will air on television at their regularly scheduled times. Shows will be filmed at the hosts’ homes and feature virtual interviews with guests.

This is solution is the next step in an evolving process that began with empty television studios then shifted to at-home versions of shows. With the success of these productions, networks are more confident in airing them on television rather than relegating them to YouTube and social media.

Conan O’Brien has been handling the situation about as one would expect. He’s released several videos sharing life hacks and updates about how he’s surviving life away from Conan. But now he’s ready to get back to TBS and starting tonight, fans are invited into O’Brien’s home along with some big-name guests. Here’s the lineup:

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler kicks things off on Monday. Sandler and O’Brien have a long history together dating back to their time at Saturday Night Live together. The actor was a frequent guest on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and remains one of the best guests on the “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” podcast. Regardless of the format, Sandler and O’Brien together are always entertaining and make for a must-watch. Given the current state of things, their combined sense of humor is the perfect way to start the week.

Last we heard, Sandler lives in O’Brien’s neighborhood. But with strict social distancing guidelines in place, it may be too risky for Sandler to visit O’Brien in person. And as the above sketch proves, finding Conan’s house may not be so simple.

Sophie Turner

The last time Sophie Turner visited Conan, things got a little out of hand. She demonstrated “Tequila Slaps,” the preferred drinking game of the Dark Phoenix cast. But now with all the protocols in place to keep people safe, slapping and drinking games are off the table.

Instead Turner will join Conan O’Brien for a virtual visit on Tuesday, March 31. The Game of Thrones actress has been very vocal about encouraging people to self-isolate to help flatten the curve while also praising the work of medical professionals.

If you follow Turner on Instagram, then you know she has been just as entertaining as she has been encouraging. Expect more of the same on Conan  where Turner could also discuss her new show Survive on the Quibi platform.

Jesse Eisenberg

Jesse Eisenberg’s recent appearance on “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend” confirmed that the actor and late night host are similar in both expected and unexpected ways. It is part of the reason why Eisenberg’s visit to Conan on Wednesday, April 1 should be so much fun.

If you haven’t listened to the podcast episode, it’s highly recommended. It will give you a pretty good sense of what the conversation will be like when O’Brien and Eisenberg connect virtually. Expect the wit of both performers to be on display in what could be the highest rate of jokes-per-minute all week in late night.

Sean Hayes

Conan closes out its week with actor Sean Hayes on Thursday, April 2. The Will & Grace star had been keeping busy recently as a substitute host of Ellen but will return to his usual role of talk show guest.

Hayes has been a longtime guest of O’Brien’s late night shows. The pair are very friendly with each other, despite the fact that O’Brien once hit Hayes with his car:

We’ll have to wait and see if that little incident of a hit and run remains in the past. But then again, with Hayes closing out the week, fans should expect O’Brien to want things to stay as positive and optimist as possible.
