Courteney Cox takes on Jimmy Kimmel’s Friends trivia challenge

Courteney Cox joined Jimmy Kimmel’s home show and was challenged to a round of Friends trivia.
How have you been spending your time social distancing? Maybe you’ve been cleaning and organizing. Or maybe you’ve been binging your favorite television shows. For Friends star Courteney Cox, it has been a little bit of both.
Cox was the latest celebrity to join Jimmy Kimmel for an at-home edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Other guests have included Julia Louis-Dreyfus. and Dave Matthews as Kimmel finds a creative way to deliver a late night show while in isolation.
The actress provided an update on what life is like now that she is confined to her home. She showed off her very Monica-esque kitchen during an impromptu tour. Cox then revealed that she recently started to binge-watch Friends to prepare for the planned reunion special.
Kimmel then decided to see how well Cox has been paying attention and what she remembers with a round of Friends trivia. To give Cox some strong competition, he brought in his cousin and Friends superfan Anthony. Here’s how that went:
Cox made it very clear she didn’t recall too many specifics from episodes of Friends. Putting her against a self-proclaimed superfan would seem unfair. So maybe that’s why Kimmel chose to surprise Cousin Anthony with Cox in an attempt to throw him off his game. It did not work.
She may have been shutout but give Cox credit for agreeing to play. And it sounded like she may have known a couple of answers but couldn’t keep up with Anthony’s lightning-fast thumbs.
Somehow Jimmy Kimmel Live! has become the late night home for Friends content. Jennifer Aniston is a frequent guest on the show and almost always fields questions about the iconic sitcom from Kimmel. And who can forget Kimmel’s attempt to reboot the series himself with some minor tweaks to the casting?
