Mic Drop Remix

You can’t have a recap of BTS late night moments without including some live performances. And there is no better performance to start with than the band’s version of Mic Drop Remix on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

This appearance is from Nov. 2017, a nice reminder that BTS has been around for a while and not something that was only recently thrown together. The performance helped give American audiences an idea of what BTS is all about and the the energy the band brings to its live performances.

Fans demonstrated their support of BTS and its members the second this Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance was released. Comments praising Hoseok’s stage presence, Tae’s voice, and Jimin’s style can be found all over the YouTube comment section of the video, which has amassed over 21 million views.

For some fans, this late night TV appearance was their first exposure to BTS and K-pop music. It’s hard to pick a better ambassador to the genre than BTS thanks to the band’s energy on stage and catchy songs.

Jimmy Kimmel certainly knew this was the case. He opened the show by noting the frenzied activity outside the theater in anticipation of BTS. Kimmel used that fan hysteria to film a bit in which BTS surprised some super fans in what was another memorable moment.
