Amy Poehler

Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Amy Poehler returns to late night television to promote her latest project. You can see the actress/writer/producer/director on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Poehler recently wrapped up season two of Making It, the reality crafting competition series she co-hosts with Nick Offerman. NBC recently announced that the show will be back for a third season.

In the meantime, Poehler has a new project to discuss. She is the co-creator of Duncanville, a new animated comedy that premieres on Fox on Feb. 16. Poehler will also be one of the voices in the show that she created along with The Simpsons producer Mike Scully and writer Julie Scully.

Other actors lending their voices to Duncanville include Modern Family‘s Ty Burrell, comedian Erika Lindholme, Grey’s Anatomy actress Joy Osmanski, and Parks and Rec‘s Rashida Jones.

Poehler will provide more details on the show when she sits down with Jimmy Kimmel. But the basics are that Poehler will be the voice of 15-year-old Duncan as well as Duncan’s mother as the boy makes his way through life as a teenager.

The show should have no problem finding an audience among Amy Poehler fans as well as fans of other animated series like The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers.
