Jameela Jamil

Lights Out with David Spade

The Good Place star Jameela Jamil has quickly become one of the best guests in late night. Catch her make her Lights Out with David Spade debut on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

The Good Place recently returned for its final run of shows before the NBC sitcom signs off for good. The show has helped introduce Jamil to American audiences and also proven that the radio and television host can act. Her role as Tahani, alongside Ted Danson and Kristen Bell, was her first acting role. Not a bad way to start!

Fans of The Good Place should know that Jamil is nothing like her character. She is not exactly the buttoned-up, fame and status obsessed woman that Tahni was to start The Good Place. That makes Jamil the perfect guest for Lights Out with David Spade, a show that isn’t afraid to go blue with its comedy and doesn’t take celebrity too seriously.

On that front, Jamil has been open about criticizing celebrities that she feels are having a negative impact on culture and especially young people. David Spade is also open to calling out other famous people but maybe not for the same exact reasons. Regardless, Jamil will likely speak more freely on Lights Out than she has on any other late night show and that makes her appearance a must-see.
